Throughout the State of the Union Address, Obama took many saddening and dire ongoing situations as an example as to show the status of America. What I found interesting was that he mentioned the Middle Class a plentiful amount of times, almost as if he was blaming us, but he should take note that we can only do so much. A stress on confidence, reform, and freedom was also expressed; Obama takes the initiative and tries already to calm everyone down. Most of what Obama says was really just optimistic; to give the people what they want to hear even if he was to have the truth bent just a tiny tiny bit. Statements such as stronger, strength, and recovery really invades into the minds of those who supposedly oppose him. Finally, Obama stresses on government as well, saying that in order to have a more stable and efficient government  we have to have just straight up more government, which Obama believes is the key. In conclusion, Obama seems to be progressing at a fast rate in means of recovery for the United States of America; hopefully his "show" and "plans" go as planned!
